a viable alternative to watching the bachelor.

if you haven't checked out TED you should. this is a recent TED lecture by elizabeth gilbert (author of eat, pray, love) about the challenges that you encounter when you are choosing a career as a writer, or any kind of artist actually.

in other news, i can totally relate to this dilemma.

YYYEEESSS!!!!
it's a serious unresolved problem!
i have soo many notebook pages devoted to finding a suitable remedy to this problem.

also, trying coalesce affected and effected into one word (which i sometimes need to do:

a(e)ffected
a.effected?
(but who says the a should come first:

e.affected
(ae)ffected?
a-e-ffected?
(a)(e)ffected?

none work.

oh this stresses me out.
