i want to do a photoshoot based on this idea asapers. i just need a crafty child to draw cool stuff for me.

embracing average

a friend of mine was describing twitter and summed it up as a place to tell the world 'hey, look at me, being awesome, having a blast & doing something way more fun than you are' all in a tidy 140 characters. he has a point.

i think that's why this collection of micro-blogs makes me smile so much. it's a celebration of the ordinary, the every-day and average. and because of that, it's freaking hilarious.

here is a screenshot from the live chat I just had with Bank of America. the staff member was really helpful and resolved the situation and then ended with this compliment. had to save it for posterity of course. the next time, i get heckled by JETSTAR and their horrible customer service staff, i'm just going to email/fax/carrier pigeon this little message their way and BAM - i'll show them i'm actually a nice person, that exhibits kind behavior.
